Another one bites the dust…
Ok, I tried. I honestly love to blog and feel like I have been “introduced” to so many wonderful people through it. Unfortunately I can’t keep up. I have either been out of town or had visitors in town for a month now and honestly blogging has been the last thing on my mind. I didn’t even realize how long it had been between my last two posts until I got a few e-mail questions about where I was. Oops! Well, here I am again saying sorry for my absence and thinking maybe it’s time to call a spade a spade. I love reading blogs. I love commenting. I no longer love writing them. It feels like pressure. I made a deal with myself that I would write when I felt like it and not feel obligated, but since then I have barely written anything. I feel like that’s a sign.
I will still be around reading and commenting because I love the connection to people who often have similar views on the things I’m most interested in. I just can’t keep up. That’s all.
I leave you with some pics from our trip to Boston. It was awesome and we celebrated our 30th birthdays in a city we instantly fell in love with and topped it all off with a Red Sox win in extra innings at Fenway against the Yankees. It was perfect! Sorry to any Yankees fans, but as a Red Sox fan and Texan (Rangers against Yankees in the current playoff series), it was the perfect icing on a cake of a trip.

I think I would LOVE Boston simply for its history. And sean would love it bc of the Red Sox!
Hope to see you around here–either on your blog or mine!
We decided easily it’s our favorite city. Everything is so beautiful and has a history. You rarely see a strip mall (I saw one) in the whole area and we drove all the way to Maine. Another thing, you can get to Maine in 2 hours. It takes longer than that for us to get to Dallas!

I was so excited to see your blog in my reader and then so sad when I read this. I completely understand though. Live your life, do your thing! Hope to hear from you every now and then!
I’ll keep in touch and I can’t wait to see pics from kelly’s visit in November. Jealous!

At least I see you and talk to you almost every day in person! HA! We both have a lot of exciting things going on in our lives and as much fun as blogging was I think we both realized that our real lives are just a tad more important to spend our time on! So sorry everyone, from now on I get all the great Hilary stories to myself!
