I got up early this morning (same time as always, really, but felt an hour earlier with the time change) and got in a good 5 mile run and some time on the elliptical. I fueld up with some cottage cheese and April’s low carb sweet bread with cream cheese and of course a yummy cup of coffee with almond milk. Yum! I think I may be the only person that doesn’t like the time change. Nobody likes getting used to it initially, I think, but most people like it being lighter later in the evening. I’m opposite. As a morning person, I would rather it be lighter earlier in the morning. Getting up in the dark is no fun. Oh well, more time in the evenings to be outside in summer is nice, too.
I’m about to leave the beautiful Spring 70 degree Texas weather for the windy cold climate of Chicago. I love Chicago, though, and am definitely excited to get the chance to go back. It is one of my favorite cities along with San Francisco and Washington, DC. I’m pumped to get some shopping and socializing in among the meetings that are the offiicial reason for the trip. Have you ever noticed that the clothing in the same brand of store is totally different in different cities? Texas doesn’t have seasons really, so we go from cool-weather clothes to tank tops. The same stores in more northern cities actually have Fall and Spring clothes. Obviously I like to shop 🙂 Ok, gotta go finish packing.
