The meetings are finally over and I’m chillin at O’Hare waiting to fly home. Yay! I love to travel, but it’s much less fun when the hubby can’t go.
They did go easier on us today with a later start time this morning, so I took advantage and went for a seven-mile run outside. I ran from the hotel to Michigan Avenue and the famous Magnificent Mile. Then I headed toward Lake Michigan and the Navy Pier. I love to run in different places. There is hardly a better way to experience a new city. You get the chance to take it all in.
Since I am a bad blogger (I’m working on it, I promise) again, there was no camera. How did I manage to go on a trip without my camera, blogger or not? Anyway, these pics are courtesy of the internet, but perfect examples of what I saw on my wonderful run and a pretty acurate depiction of the beautiful weather, as well.
I though it would be crazy cold in Chicago this time of year, but it was in the 50s this morning and 68 was the high. Not much different from Texas right now.
