Green. Did you see, did you see?! Seriously VERY computer unsavvy! It has taken me a week to figure out how to change the font color (bit of a pain with codes and looking up color numbers), but I did it (patting myself on the back as we speak). Now I just have to figure out how to make just one word green instead of the whole post. Baby steps! Anybody have any other helpful hints? What does the ins, img, ul, ol, and li mean at the top when on the create post page. I get the bold, italics, link, and delete, but the rest is greek to me.
Speaking of greek, we are eating greek tonight (did you like that segway 🙂 ). We are going out to dinner with our neighbors tonight at this local greek restaurant down the street called Zakias that Jensen and I go to all the time. It’s one of those places where the owner makes everything from scratch. Hummus, baklava, spanikopita, baba ganoush, even the pita bread is hand-made right there. She is always there and knows us by name. We keep telling our neighbors about it, so we are going to take them there tonight. A big greek salad with feta and her perfectly seasoned and marinated chicken breast is on my mind. Love it! We always get turkish coffee and share a pistachio baklava as well. It’s our place.
Ok, on to my afternoon. Believe it or not I didn’t spend all afternoon figuring out how to write in green (most, not all 🙂 ) I went to yoga then had lunch (same as yesterday so no pic). I needed fuel for my next adventure…grocery store on a weekend. AHHH!
I try not to go to the grocery store on the weekend at all, but when I’m gone all week I have to make an exception. We were literally out of EVERYTHING! I managed to make it to both Sprouts and the regular grocery store (HEB) and had plans to pop into Costco as well. There is no popping into Costco on a Saturday, so I decided to put off that errand.
Do you have to go to multiple grocery stores?
I go to Sprouts and HEB every week for different things. Sprouts for produce and most of the food I eat on a regular basis and HEB for “normal” (mostly husband) foods like fritos and frosted mini wheats. Every now and then I stop by Whole Foods and about once a month or two I make a Costco run for the bulk items and our dogs treats. They LOVE the Check-ups from there and they are way cheaper than Greenies. I had to make a run to the pet store last night about 8:30 because we realized we were out of Check-ups and needed something to tide them over. They were standing there just staring at us 🙂
Luckily I got more than enough for last night, so despite the abort mission at Costco, there won’t be any doggy mutiny tonight.
I got home from all my errands and was ravenous. I put my freshly made granola to good use and added it to some Fage along with some blueberries and Stevia. It did not disappoint.
Off to go get ready for couple date night. I love still “dating” my husband. We try to have a special night away from home at least once a week. We do love to stay home and play Scrabble or watch movies, too. We just try to set aside “us” time so we don’t get caught up in life and forget what’s important
Do you and your love have a special place or activity?/
Do you still “date”?
