Kermit the Frog was one of my favorite characters growing up. I can’t tell you how many times I watched Muppets Take Manhattan or The Great Muppet Caper when I was little.
One thing Kermie and I share is our greenness (sure it’s a word). As I was walking into the gym this morning I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the window. There I was in my lime green running shorts sporting my lime green earphones. The dayglow attire shining bright long before the sun was even up. It made me smile.
After I arrived back at home post cardio, I showered up, brushed the tangles out of my wet hair with my…
That’s right lime green hairbrushes. Times TWO!
I headed up the stairs with my lime green cell phone, sipping coffee out of my lime green coffee mug (thanks to the hubby for that stocking stuffer), and opened my lime green computer with its lime green mouse to enter the blogworld and check e-mail.
I consulted my lime green daily planner for any appointments or meeting I may have today and logged my workout with my lime green pen (or pencil, take your pick from above) which actually writes LIME GREEN!
Ok, so you get it, right? Just in case.
I even have a lime green work bag and umbrella. Seriously, I’m starting to think I have a problem.
I think I would draw the line at buying a lime green car or painting my house lime green. I’m pretty sure anyway. No, I’m sure. I’m not that crazy 🙂
According to color expert Annie B Bond, your favorite color can be key to understanding our personalities. Click the link to find out what your favorite te hue means about you. Haha! Poet and didn’t know it. I digress.
Green: The color of harmony and balance, Green symbolizes hope, renewal and peace, and is usually liked by the gentle and sincere. Greens are generally frank, community-minded people, fairly sociable but preferring peace at any price. Green people can be too self-effacing, modest and patient, so they may get exploited by others. They are usually refined, civilized and reputable
Ok, so I am frank and fairly refined, civilized, and reputable ( I think, anyway). Gentle – not so much. Patient – for sure not. I also wouldn’t say I like peace at any price. I’m opinionated and like to voice those opinions. Not so peaceful, though I do like to hear both side of any issue even if it won’t change my mind. I am a big believer in agree to disagree even if I like to debate about it for a while first. So I guess I always end up on the side of peace. Anyway, I think I just like green, but it was an interesting analysis.
